We are all on a journey whether we like it or not. The accommodations for some on the first leg of their travels seem unfair and yet for others not deserving. Those influenced by their accommodations divert their efforts and consequently possibly the intended destination. Regardless of the circumstances, the journey never really ends. Some say that life is short, and that may seem to be the case for life as we know it. The truth is that eternity has always been, will be and is forever. Sounds elementary, but we must understand that our eternity begins at the moment of our conception. At that point, we begin (you guess it) the journey.

As we travel the distance between our conception and our final earthly destination, we accumulate travel points. These travel points are earned by everyone on their individual journey. They can't be cashed in or redeemed for your favorite electronic device. These points map out your traveled route onto the next leg of the journey. The legacy that you leave are those points.

So as you continue on your journey remember that the trip never ends, we just change accommodations. Travel points don't necessarily determine the accommodations but are a good indicator on whether you get a window seat.

Evolution

Evolution: A gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away;behold, the new has come. 2 Co 5:17

We love and therefore we pray that those in opposition to Christ would come to the revelation that has brought light to those in the darkness. We too were looking for the right answers when we came to God and He met us. The change that takes place in a person's life when they truly trust and believe in God is remarkable. When you surrender yourself to the realization that you are a sinner, and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior the transformation is what we believe is the true evolution of man.

United: To join and act together in a common purpose or endeavor.

Everyone has a story to tell, a journey if you will. That is what unites us as human beings. We can talk about our lives, experiences, circumstances, and beliefs. But in the whole cosmic order of things, what do we have to say about the truth and not our truth but the Truth. The truth is not true because you believe it. The truth is there as evidence to itself whether we believe it or not.

Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

Then Pilate said to Him, Are You really a king? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. For this purpose I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I might witness to the Truth. Everyone being of the Truth hears My voice. John 18:37

We understand that many individuals have different beliefs on what is true. People could say that it is very arrogant of us to claim to have the truth. Then it would also be arrogant of others to claim that their belief is correct. As we all know, not everyone can be right, unless everyone is believing the truth, not our truth, the Truth.

We humbly claim to have our belief in the Holy Bible and the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ as the absolute truth. Yes, the absolute truth. This to some would seem intolerable to different beliefs. This is not so, since even those that believe the same as we do at times find disagreement in basic teachings. So remember that a house divided falls. We as believers must focus not on our different doctrines but on the truth, which is Christ. So let's agree to disagree in those areas of dispute and all united agree in Christ. AMEN? AMEN!

Confused

Being confused in itself is not a significant issue. The ability to clear up the confusion is what is paramount. We could all get confused everyday about different things. Some people get confused about directions and others about whether to ask for directions or not. When it comes to the question of our eternal existence, we must have no confusion on that; “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.”John 3:16 This is what separates the saved from the lost, the confused from those that understand. This is where the enemy comes in to bring deception and schemes that keep people confused.

They do not believe, because their minds have been kept in the dark by the evil god of this world. He keeps them from seeing the light shining on them, the light that comes from the Good News about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. 2 Co 4:4

Regardless of work, family, friends, finances or whatever it is that drives you; do not let confusion be an everyday reality.

Here is a scenario:

The average person breaths about 20 respirations a minute. So that's 1200 breaths in an hour. Since there are 24 hours in a day that adds up to 28800 breaths. Do the math if you like. Now, since the average person takes about 28,800 breaths a day (give or take), their heart rate increases because of the need for more air due to exercise or other movements. This could change. When you’re asleep you may only take 16 to 18 breaths per minute. This means that in a year, an average person could take approximately 10,512,000 breaths. Imagine how many breaths you could take in a lifetime. This sounds confusing doesn't it?

Remember that confusion is when something is unclear. The number of breaths you take is irrelevant to what you do with the breaths you are given. All you really need to know is: “Our bodies will return to the dust of the earth, and the breath of life will go back to God, who gave it to us. Ecc 12:7

So do not stay confused, seek Him daily.

Hallucinations

Anything that is not true is a lie and by its mere deceptive nature can be credited to Satan.

Hallucinations are false or mistaken ideas; a delusion.

My dear friends, you should be quick to listen and slow to speak or to get angry. If you are angry, you cannot do any of the good things that God wants done. You must stop doing anything immoral or evil. Instead be humble and accept the message that is planted in you to save you. Obey God's message! Don't fool yourselves by just listening to it. If you hear the message and don't obey it, you are like people who stare at themselves in a mirror and forget what they look like as soon as they leave. James 1:19-24

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

God purposely chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise, and he chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the powerful. 1 Cor 1:27

Be on your guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack.1 Peter 5:8

Hallucinations is the way of referring to what believers within the body of Christ experience when their hearts harden or what is commonly referred to as backsliding. This condition goes beyond catchy terms. This is a blatant attack by the enemy (Satan) to steal your peace, joy and promises that are yours through our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the book of John verse 10:10 we clearly read Satan's purposes.

He comes to steal, kill and destroy.

He will try to steal what you believe. This happens when what you have worked for begins to make you feel you deserve blessings in your life. You give the enemy the authority to attempt to steal your belief in Him (God), when you begin to believe that you deserve, or should receive a blessing. Blessings are God's to give at His discretion through His omnipotent sovereign authority in placing persons or circumstances in your path that bless you. We do not determine blessings, God does.

He will make an attempt to kill your hopes and desires. This total disregard of your future is the enemy's nature. We again give and welcome this evil nature to enter our lives when our hope and desires are centered around our families, our children, our jobs, our toys and any other of our own priorities that do not make the center of our lives the Lord Jesus Christ. This may sound drastic but the enemy would have you believe just that. The fact is that we are clearly told; If we follow our desires, we cannot please God.(Rom 8:8) Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalms 37:4) To delight yourself in the Lord is to align your desires to God's.

His motives are destruction and the enemy will destroy what you have built up for your own sake. So if he is not given authority or welcomed and you find destruction in your horizon then realize that the enemy is clearing your path. Unfortunately, we do not always see the destruction coming. It hides itself in the form of what we perceive to be in our benefit, which brings us back to Hallucinations. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. (Gal 6:7)

Resistance

Resistance: The opposition offered by one thing, force, etc.., to another.

Within the Christian community when you see resistance to God by those who know Him it is usually called backsliding. The truth is that we all have some resistance to God's will for our lives. Seems like we all want more of what is good for us but not when it comes in the form of suffering or sacrifice. So if you are a Christian and struggling with the circumstances in your life, could you be resisting God's will? Could you be backsliding? It is hard to think of that if you are a believer. For those who are not believers, then you are just dealing with life and all its challenges. So good luck, if you believe in luck. But for those that believe, we must make faith our anchor in times of resistance. Anchors do not allow you to move. Backsliding an inch away from God is spiritually moving to another universe.

So let's see: Are we backsliders or rebellious to God? Some say being rebellious to God is worse than knowing Him and turning away from Him. It is for each individual to decide. Would you rather never know where you came from and live freely in ignorance for ever? Would you rather be enlightened that you are a citizen of a glorious kingdom and decide to set up residence in a sewer? Whether you are rebellious to God and never know Him or rejecting what you know and backsliding from God the results are the same. So fight all resistance with faith and do not move back. If you are strong enough then fight and move closer to Him. Let your faith be your anchor or your vehicle.
